FEES

Good therapy can be very expensive. Therapists need to be highly trained and experienced. We can see only so many clients in a day or in a week so that we can be fully present for each client, not too tired, stressed or even burned out. You’ll find my fees are reasonable especially considering my level of expertise and dedication to each and every client.

My sessions are $150 to $200 depending on the kind of work we are doing. We’ll discuss this when you call.  I remain committed to keeping therapy affordable and always reserve a limited number of time slots for clients who require financial assistance. As of February 2024, those time slots are full.

Payment is required at the end of each session. Cash payments are preferred with Venmo and ApplePay in a tie for the next easiest option. Checks and credit cards are also accepted.

If you are a crime survivor, you can apply for compensation for counseling costs through the Victims Compensation Assistance Program at https://www.pccd.pa.gov/Victim-Services/Pages/Victims-Compensation-Assistance-Program-(VCAP).aspx

Many therapists do not contract with insurance companies. This article in the Huffington Post explains why that’s the case.

Because I do not contract with insurance companies, I am considered an out-of-network provider. If  you like, I can provide you with paid invoices for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Insurance companies set out-of-network deductibles high so they don’t have to provide reimbursement so please check your deductible before I spend precious time sending invoices to no avail. If you require paid invoices for your records, I will provide them to you.
